Edwardsville Arts Center

The Edwardsville Arts Center is a community visual arts center located in Edwardsville, Illinois. It features local, regional and national artists in the exhibit hall, host regular showings and classes, and is dedicated to offering the Edwardsville-Glen Carbon communities cultural experiences that are educational, entertaining and affordable.

It is truly an honor that EAC agreed to host Material Revival.  Pat and the MR artists are very thankful the directors were willing and able to reschedule some other upcoming shows in order to accommodate a time for their exhibit that would coincide with Innovations in Textiles 2015.

Thanks also to EAC's Liz Link and Melissa McDonough-Borden who have attended Innovations meetings in St. Louis and allowed Pat to get on with the work of curating.

The latest development in the plan is Fiber East, a self guided tour, set for Sunday October 4 that will include artist talks at two exhibits in Alton as well as EAC in Edwardsville.  We are on the agenda from 3-5 pm.  We hope you'll come to meet the artists and see the work. Stay tuned for details.

EAC's Mission:

The Edwardsville Arts Center inspires the lives of youth and the creative spirit of adults through classes, exhibits and cultural events.

A crowded gallery in 2012 for EAC TWO, a juried competition for regional artists.  The gallery is a beautiful place with a gorgeous cork floor,  ample display areas for both adult shows and a student gallery.  EAC has a gift shop stocked with an array of local and regional art, fine crafts, jewelry and wearables.

This summer EAC will host their second art fair with the City of Edwardsville.  Information for that event can be found here.
